LPMW Company was incorporated as a "for profit" Mutual Water Company in the State of California in June, 1978.  Since that time, the number of people served has increased from just a hand full of property owners to now approximately 290 properties.

In July, 2010, by vote of the majority of shareholders, LPMWC was converted to a California Non-Profit Mutual Benefit Corporation to better serve the community and to be in a better position to access opportunities not available to the Company as a "for profit" enterprise.
